Paradeep Phosphates Limited ek leading fertilizer company hai jo 1981 se India ke fertilizer sector me kaam kar rahi hai. Company ka main business DAP (Di-Ammonium Phosphate), NPK complex fertilizers aur Zypmite banane ka hai, jiska production Odisha ke Paradeep port town me hota hai. Saath hi company ammonia, sulphuric acid aur micronutrients ka trading bhi karti hai, jise poore India me apne “Navratna” brand ke through farmers tak pahunchaya jata hai. Company ki DAP, Sulphuric acid aur Phosphoric acid plants kaafi bade scale par operate karte hain, jinka annual capacity क्रमशः 7.2 lakh MT, 6.6 lakh MT aur 2.25 lakh MT hai. Pehle yeh Government of India aur Republic of Nauru ka joint venture tha, par loss aur inefficiency ke kaaran yeh sick unit declare ho gaya aur baad me 2002 me Government ne 74% stake Zuari Maroc Phosphates Pvt Ltd ko bech diya. Uske baad company ne turnaround kiya, Nepal ko export kiya, certifications liye aur capacity modernization start ki. 2022 me company IPO lekar aayi aur ZACL ka Goa Fertilizer Plant bhi acquire kiya jisse scale aur presence dono badhe. Recent years me company ne multiple expansions kiye—jaise naya Phosphoric Acid Plant (2023), 4th evaporator, PAP-2 plant ki capacity increase (600 MTPD se 1000 MTPD) aur Goa plant me ammonia converter modernization. 2025 me company ne India ka pehla biogenic nano fertilizers launch kiya (Nano Urea, Nano DAP, TSP 46% P) jo future-focused innovation hai. Overall, Paradeep Phosphates apni production capacity, technology upgrade aur product innovation se fertilizer industry me apni long-term positioning ko strong bana rahi hai.
